Been here several times and it is our favorite place for Sunday brunch. Food is excellent, well prepared and plentiful. Omelettes, pancakes and my wife's favorite strawberry French toast. Prices comparable to local diners but selection and value superior. Outstanding service...love that they leave a carafe of coffee rather than having to constantly ask for refills. Highly recommended.

I've been here a few times before. Quality of the food seems to have dropped off. From the last time I was there a 2-3 years ago. It was clean and everyone was nice and courteous. The number of items on the menu has also decreased. Prices are reasonable.

Went here for my husband’s 30th birthday brunch with a group and it was such a nice choice for a celebration. The menu has something for everyone, and the food was satisfying and comforting, exactly what you want for brunch. Portions were generous and it had a warm, bustling vibe. Service was friendly, though with a group it took a little time for everything to come out together. Overall a really solid brunch spot with a lovely atmosphere.

Food is gross. I had to cut pancakes with a knife because they were brick like. The eggs were even ick. Only good thing was the bacon and toast. This is my second time in the past month and both times were gross. Not worth the money. Also sits on your stomach for hours. 🤢🤢

This place is truly amazing. From the moment you walk in until the time you leave, you feel right at home. The food is delicious — perfectly seasoned, not overdone — and the staff? Just wonderful. Warm, welcoming, and beautiful energy all around. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is a well known restaurant in the Northport area. Popular with locals for breakfast and lunch. Crowded on Sunday for brunch. Clean facilities. Food is good. No muffins available. On the more expensive side. Card payments are accepted. Give it a try if you’re in the area. Compatible to your favorite local diner.

15+ years ago, Sweet Mama's was rather forlorn and so was their food. But as of 2024 they 've completely turned things around. The food is now consistently very good, fresh, and with generous portions for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Their big breakfast combo platter is wonderful and a huge bargain compared to the measly servings of nearby diners. At dinnertime, their old-fashioned favorites include meatloaf, fried chicken, Thanksgiving-style turkey platters - - - even chicken fried steak. And the salad that comes with these entrees is the biggest, loveliest starter salad you'll find anywhere.
Desserts are all fresh and amply-sized. Their carrot and chocolate cakes are big enough for two to share.
Sweet Mama's has fully redeemed itself, and is a great local place for reliable quality comfort food at very reasonable prices.
