Went with a friend who had seen this place packed when she ate at a nearby trad restaurant. We split two vegan sandwiches and everything was just right! Healthy, perfect portions, even the greens on the side were fresh and organic! 100% satisfied. Menu item descriptions are informative. Wish we’d had room for dessert! Oh- horchata was refreshing too!

I live out of state. Every time I visit New York I have to go to The Purple Elephant. I have been going for years. I always get the delicious Sorry Charlie Tuna sandwich. It is an open faced 'tuna' sandwich made with chickpeas. It is only on the lunch menu. The Thai peanut cauliflower wings are delicious. Everyone at this restaurant are so friendly. The service is outstanding. There are so many vegan options. Mostly all the desserts are vegan. I highly recommend this...

Very unusual menu. Vegan friendly. Great tasting food! You can enjoy your meal on their outside deck overlooking one of Northport's beautiful marinas. Well worth the trip!
