Delicious food in a lively neighborhood spot right on Main Street in Northport. The Tuna Tartare appetizer was a winner, as well as our entrees.

Our first time here. The food was incredible. Our fish choices were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and we could have a conversation without shouting at each other. I highly recommend Harbor House.

Restaurant was very small and very noisy. Table for 2 was too small to fit everything on. I felt cramped eating. Food and service was great.

Another nice visit for dinner. Our table was ready, the service and food were great. My husband had the tuna appetizer and I had the warm spinach salad. Both were tasty. For our entrees we had the grouper (my favorite) and the chicken wrapped in prosciutto. Both were nicely prepared and delicious. They offer a generous pour of wine which is appreciated because a lot of places do not. We are locals and will be returning soon!

Outstanding service and every dish we tried was chef's kiss. The flavors and the actual quality of the meat, seafood and vegetables were off the charts fresh and delicious!

This is a wonderful restaurant and I highly recommend it. The food is always delicious, generously portioned, and well priced. The wine and cocktails are great. The best espresso martini ever! You can't go wrong here. The food comes out a little slow sometimes but that is really not an issue for me. It's made to order, hot and delicious! I love this little gem!

Had a wonderful lunch on an August Friday, we docked our boat at the Northport Village dock and walked around town before stopping in for lunch. Really nice variety on the menu. Staff was extremely attentive. We both had really enjoyable meals with very reasonable pricing. We will definitely be back.

As always the food was incredible, the service was top notched and the drinks were tasty. A great place for dinner before heading off to the Theatre. The mussels were so delicious while the fried calamari were light and very crispy. 5 stars all around, see you soon.

The restaurant is very small but filled with AMBIENCE. Beautifully decorated. Went for my hubby 's birthday ? lunch. We ordered fish tacos (monk fish) baked oysters and muscles in the most delicious light cream sauces. Everything was so delicious and presentation was beautiful. I has a pineapple monitor and Jimmy had 2 beers that were on tap, specialty beers of the day. We enjoyed our drinks. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food. We had an awesome time and definitely will go back... very soon, next time dinner. Prices r very compatible to Northport restaurant. Worth every dime. Thank you for a lovely time.

Service was very pleasant and attentive, food was fresh and tastefully prepared. We enjoyed the tender fried calamari, Harbor House salad with shrimp, Caesar salad, veal scallopini , and a fish dish, all of which were delicious. Prices were typical for this area. I will recommend to friends.

Came on a Friday night. Food and service was excellent, our server was outstanding always keeping our drinks full. We sat outside so the noise level was at a minimum. Appetizers , entrees and drinks for 2 was about $130 plus tip. Highly recommend

Loved what I ordered which was the ahi tuna, but subbed the mashed for steamed spinach which was a plentiful portion. Tuna cooked perfectly seared and tasty dipping glaze. My friend and I also shared the Buffalo mozzarella salad which was a perfect start and drinks from the bar topped off the meal. Would definitely return.

Our visit to Harbor House was a bit of a mixed bag which is disappointing because the food was pretty darned good. We had a 6pm reservation for 3. Got there at about 5:50 and was seated in the front by the windows. Nice seat but would be pretty cramped for a table of 4. The first potential red flag was that 3 of the chairs had left over food stuffs from the previous diners. French fries and crumbs on seats and on the floor under our table. Bread came out very fast and was yummy with olive oil, butter and a pesto type sauce for dipping. Then we sat.....and sat......no one approached us for drinks or ordering for over 15 minutes. Other diners who came in after us were being taken care of. When a waitress finally seemed to realize we were sitting for some time she finally came over and apologized for the mix up. Seems no one knew which wait staff was supposed to service that table. As I mentioned the food was good. Spinach salad with warm bacon dressing was awesome. We ordered the filet of lemon sole and the grouper. Glad to see a mix of vegetables as green beans and broccoli are getting a bit tired. Everyone was happy with their meal but for 2 additional occurrences. The first was that we overheard the bartender listing specials for the evening to folks that were eating at the bar. We were never advised of any specials for the night. The second issue is that while eating a snow pea I felt in my mouth what I thought was a stringy piece of the pea but turned out it was a small piece of metal apparently from one of the scrubbies used in the kitchen. Waitress was advised and my glass of wine was taken of the bill with many apologies. The food was good and reasonable for the area, a bit more attention to details are required.

All the food was excellent. We had a few different fish dishes, the salmon, the ahi tuna, the snapper special. And the baked oysters as a starter. Molly was extremely attentive. Also loved dining in the alley way, being outside, but off of Main St. I normally don't write reviews. But I was also very appreciative of the staff's careful attention to my niece's dietary restrictions, as she has Celiac's and must stay gluten-free. Thank you for a lovely, worry-free evening.
