Alexa and the chef were the only ones keeping this restaurant alive tonight. They both did an outstanding job. You would have never known they were short staffed. The food was prepared and served in a timely manner. Alexa and the chef should be commended. 5 star service.
Sunday dinner at Jay's. One server, one chef.
Alexa, the server, smiled the entire time. She handled several tables, take out orders, and phone in orders.
I had the chicken cordon bleu and my husband had the veal parmesan. Both were excellent.
Very friendly staff. It was rather busy when we went in, but our server was attentive and kind.
We ordered an antipasta salad to share. It was huge and filling. Could have used a bit more dressing, but it worked out. It was enough salad for the three of us to enjoy.
