Went Saturday night before the Ryder Cup - great place, good tv's (had a little trouble getting college football on for us Southerners). Great service, great food. Buffalo chicken dip was fantastic, as was the pretzel! Reuben as well...great place, we'll be back.

It's easy to drive by Village Idiot Irish Pub thinking that it's just another run-of-the-mill sports bar but if you pass it by, you're missing out. Went there recently with my family for Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food is. Portions are generous. The servers are friendly and attentive. The village idiot makes some pretty good food, assuming they decided to clean their grills. I would personally avoid their burgers as they usually got that dirty grill taste, but otherwise are cooked and made pretty well. The rest of their menu is otherwise pretty good but at the end of the day it’s bar food.
