I used to work in this area and remember when the food at Chan's was decent. I got chicken wings that were WAY over cooked. The old oil taste was prominent. The house special egg foo young was not special by no means. A couple of shrimp and broccoli pieces. The gravy had so much salt. Ugh... an absolute waste l gave most to my dog then felt guilty about that. He didn't deserve it

Chicken wings with shrimp fried rice how can you mess that up but they did chicken wings was old rice was hard the only thing that was good was the egg roll. Was a waste of my money so please don't waste yours on this

What a delicious meal I had for lunch at this restaurant. I have been wanting to come here for a while now and today was the day. I usually go to the camera shop a few doors down in this strip mall. It's an easy in and out off the main road and just a short hop to the parkway. The shop looks small from the outside but don't let that fool you. It's not a small take out place and there is ample seating in a very bright dining area. I was there with a friend and we ordered the: - Chicken in Garlic Sauce - Tender sauteed chicken in a delicious sauce. - General Tso's Chicken - Saucy, juicy and crispy. The sauce is thick and loaded with flavor with nice size pieces of fried chicken. Both lunch portions had generous amounts of chicken with a good amount of fried rice. This was also served with a can of soda. All around both lunch priced items were wonderful-generous-sized portions and extremely tasty. I am looking forward to another visit here. KUDOs to the team at Chan's Garden.

Had a wonton soup for lunch. Broth was nice, not like the canned boullion so many take outs give to save time and cut corners. Wontons were firm and tasty, showing extra care taken in the kitchen. Seems like it's a family run restaurant. I'll beback for those Chinatown dishes pictured above the counter.

I hope my immune system is strong because this place is filthy. Not only that the lady who took my order was VERY RUDE. No exceptions on the menu. It’s not even busy.
Food is very salty, they mix concentrate plus hot water for hot and sour soup. Diagusting and not even warm. Beef lo mein was same.. not even using correct sauce to cook. Just plain soy sauce taste. Never buy from this place.

Quintessential Chinese take out establishment. What are the criteria for the old school OG Chinese "Restaurant" that your Grandparents and Great Grandparents used to patronize way back in the Day. First is be in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Small store front with a few old wooden tables that no on used unless they were sitting waiting for their take out order to be done. Delivery a must, delivery that was offered before Uber or door dash or any post pandemic company. Prompt and efficient and friendly. Final criteria is the menu. Pages and pages with color pictures of what is offered. Food that some people now have never heard of. Chow Mein, Chop Suey, Egg Foo Young, Chicken Almond Ding, Shrimp wrapped in Bacon. You ask how do they make all this in a little store front and more amazing is how they make it so tasty? All I know is that they do and I encourage you to give it a try Old School.

Received a call they were closed 30 minutes after they were supposed to deliver and the order was originally placed over an hour ago. Why did they even allow me to place an order and confirm they were going to deliver!?
