We came in here at 12 on a Sunday and didn’t leave until 1:45, we only took 15 min to eat. The waitress was rude and never checked on us, never once refilled our drinks for the almost two hours we were there. People who came in after us got there food far before us and the table next to us didn’t get there food forever either. The food came out in all separate times. I ordered steak and eggs. They brought my toast, then 5 min later my steak with Homefries(which I didn’t ask for) came out, then another 5 min went by and my eggs came out, the yolk was solid and everything was unseasoned and overcooked but somehow still cold. I was incredibly disappointed, I will not be returning.

Great chicken and biscuits 😋 not many veggies in it. But still tasted delicious.

Waitress is always extremely rude for no reason. She will respond rudely to anything you say. Every time we come we always leave a big tip and are respectful to her. She doesn’t give us any time to speak to put in our orders and also will leave the table in the middle of something to go talk to another table. Do not recommend coming here if you’re looking to be treated with basic human decency. Look inward and realize that treating kind people like that isn’t cute.

Was so good! We decided to come back today after eating here yesterday. Both days meals were absolutely divine, pancakes are the fluffiest I've ever had. Lattes were extremely good too. And the meal pictured was so good there were no scraps left. Definitely the best breakfast place around here. Highly recommend!

I had my niece visiting from Colorado. I offered to take her to breakfast. Never been to Green Acres. I ordered 2 eggs over easy and rye toast well done. My eggs were so over cooked there was no yolk in which to dip my cold, limp, barely toasted bread in. Waitress was completely indifferent. No offer to refill our coffee. Not rude. Just not warm and welcoming. Never smiled. $30 for this poorly cooked breakfast. I have been a short order breakfast cook in a fine restaurant. I like to patronize local businesses, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this one.

Very good food, although when I've gone in, I've felt like an afterthought with staff much more focused on older regulars.

My food came out perfect. I’m traveling and was directed to this place by a local and that was a blessing!
Really good food! Stopped in for the first time for a quick breakfast before running some errands and had some very good biscuits & gravy! Place has a classic small town diner authentic and a nice display for desserts/baked goods. They sport some pretty massive cinnamon rolls too!
Unfortunately, my only major complaint was the service... There was just one server there and the place wasn't too busy, but for some reason the server wanted nothing to do with me? Maybe it was the way I was dressed (just t-shirt & shorts) or because I wasn't sure if I was supposed to seat myself, but it just felt weirdly rude from the second I got there. They were very openly friendly with the other customers, but it felt like I was the black sheep for some reason? I come from the food industry myself, so I try to be very polite & respectful to restaurant workers in general. I truly hope I did nothing to offend this server, but I sincerely I apologize if I did!
Absolutely amazing atmosphere clean restaurant and clean kitchen

We go here on average twice a month. We would give this cafe 5 stars consistently. Very friendly service whether they are busy or not. My favorite dish has been the Philly cheese steak wrap. It has an awesome flavor and perfect balance of ingredients. Today I had a special - chicken salad on cranberry wheat bread. Great texture and just the right amount of dressing. Their homemade chips alone are worth coming here. Very reasonable pricing on such good food!
My experience, was unpleasant service, the waitress was short in conversation, the place was unwelcoming, from both the waitress and cook. I will not enter that unfriendly Green Acres, Gruff, in the future.
We love GREEN ACRES and all the staff members there. 💜
If you don't mind having your conversation rudely interrupted every two minutes and then being insulted by demeaning jokes over a physical handicap, then this is the place for you.
Good food. Great prices.
