We visited Black Smoke for a couple drinks. The cocktails were exquisite and beautifully crafted. The bartenders were friendly and personable. At the recommendation of one of the bartenders, we ordered the hot garlic parm wings. They were so good - flavorful and perfectly crispy.
We sat upstairs on the patio. It was a hot, humid day. Our bartender was fantastic, suggsting drinks that were more refreshing. When we ordered a snack, it was the same, lighter foods. It was not crowded (Tuesday), so it allowed us the ability to talk. Every time we go, we really enjoy it!
To start with the positives, the food came out fast, and it was delicious. This is one of the best smash burgers I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the house made sauce and pickles really made it perfect. The sausage and white bean soup of the day was really good. All the cocktails that came from behind the bar looked fantastic. However... this Guinness pour is an absolute abomination. How anyone could look at this Guinness and think it's OK to serve...
