The food was abundant and presented well. Service excellent. The food was extremely salty from the meatball to the encore. The salad was delicious with the house Parmesan dressing. There was no reason for the food to be so salty. It was well seasoned and fresh. I really don’t get it. It was the general consensus of the whole table.
This was the best dining out that we’ve experienced in a while. Beginning with the welcoming staff, all the extras—complementary soup, freshly made salad on cold plates, lemon cello between courses to the main entree’s delicious-ness! It takes you back to when dinners were special and an event to relax and enjoy, instead of eating and rushing. We went to The Dove to celebrate my birthday and they did not disappoint. It was a wonderful meal. The portions were generous and cooked to perfection. Their attention to detail from th complimentary appetizer to the lemonchello through our entrée was spectacular. Our waitress was attentive and efficient. Overall we had a wonderful evening and will definitely return.
