This is one of the best kept local Ecuadorian secret. It's family style service and selection of Ecuadorian dishes are fabulous. All the dishes here are authentic and tasty. My favorite dish is called guata and it is tripe in a sauce made with peanut. This is served over yellow rice mix. They have some delicious meat and fish dishes. They also have fabulous ceviche!
The food was absolutely phenomenal for what I paid for. I ordered a Mojarra Frita with a side of french fries and it blew my expectations. The fish was very savory and the sides that came with the dish compliment each other well. I tried one of their amazing authentic Colombian sodas. Good afternoon, I am also a long-time customer of La Cuchara, it is an excellent place to share with family or friends, the only drawback now is that the Ossining police are prohibiting the consumption of drinks, tea, coffee, in the establishments in restaurants. and they only allow takeaway, this little problem will be fixed very soon ?
