“Peekskill needed a place like Peekskill Public for a long time. Great bar area, lots of TVs (with the NFL package), and a growing selection of cheaper domestics and still-affordable craft beers and cocktails. The dining room is smaller but that's because there is a large pool table (takes dollars), a professional grade shuffleboard table and four dart boards with great lighting and score machines. Plus the newly expanded outdoor seating with private areas and fans...even a big outdoor TV in the lounge area. It's pretty great and the staff is very sweet and professional.Kid-friendliness: It's a time of day thing, it is a bar after all, but our kid loves being in the dining room with all the screens and people playing the games. Just lots to watch.“
“We got a food promo 1 appetizer with 2 entrees for $25 both taste good my fave was the one the had chicken and bacon, we sat at the bar and the girl there was very nice but there was this other guy the came here and there and every time he would come to the bar side it felt like he was being very pushy with us to get drinks, which it made me feel very uncomfortable and rush to finish my food but anyway aside from that everything was good.“

“Found this gem when our truck was low on electrons. It's in a plaza flanked by a Carvel and a Dunkin. We really enjoyed the Calamari Twists. They were wonderfully seasoned and crispy. Tried the special, Lobster Tail Fra Diavolo, it had some bite! The spice was primarily in the pasta and sauce, the lobster was tender and flavorful. The other entree we tried was also a weekend special, the sliced Filet w/ Carmelized Onions. Here again, tender and flavorful. This was the first time we were here with the entire family and the kids got the MPI Burger and the Ribs. Both of those were gone before I could get a bite, but I speak from experience on the burger, it's a great one! And I got slapped away when I went for a scrap of rib. My guess; that's means it was awesome. Full bar so, we went for the IPA's. Joe at the bar gets me my drinks for a reasonable price and I'm glad to pay it because I'd like this place to be around for a long time. Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do.“

Great quality and portions for a great and enjoyable meal. The wines are the best! Especially the reds! “We just had the most delicious meal at this new restaurant. The hummus and the spicy feta appetizer was fantastic. We all had platters - chicken and gyro. They were both plentiful and delicious. “This is a great place, I come here to unwind whenever I can. However, the last few times I’ve been the parking lot is a nightmare of disgust, especially the upper part. Trash and discarded food and on more than one occasion we saw some used paraphernalia. Needless to say do not let this discourage you from going but maybe the landlord could do something about the garbage…. ?“

The old decor was more comfy feeling and not so intensly lit up.The new post renovation decor is fresh looking, but the intense bright lights make it feel a little like a cafeteria. The only thing I would suggest for any customers ordering online, do not pay attention to the google suggested time for pick up. Our wings were not warm due to the delay in time we picked up but regardless dinner was fantastic! I didn’t rate atmosphere as this was a pick up order but TOTALLY recommend.“
