Eddie’s Bistro & Bar is a welcome addition to the vibrant restaurant scene in Oyster Bay. The bar has a lively crowd, and the dining room offers plenty of seating. The friendly young wait staff provides attentive service, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elevated and approachable. The menu features lots of mostly locally sourced choices, from vegetarian to carnivore, with food that is fresh, original, and artfully prepared. Specific meals praised include The Roni pizza with fresh ingredients and a honey drizzle, an elevated chicken sandwich, a steak cooked so well, Torchio with flavorful crab, and rich Cavatelli. For dessert, the bread pudding and cheesecake with the perfect amount of tang are highlights. Shrimp tacos are absolutely amazing, and the figgy piggy pizza has a super crisp crust and generous toppings. Drinks like old fashions are also top notch. The music is at the perfect volume for conversation. Prices are fair for the quality of food. Eddie’s is a great, casual yet excellent spot for food and drinks, and many customers cannot wait to go back.
