My boyfriend and I went to NY and on the way home stopped at this diner. It had a Very, "Nostalgic" atmphoshere, with lots of different things you could buy, 'sides food, like: an "original" metal SLINKY, playing cards, board games{Ex.: SORRY, CONNECT FOUR, MONOPOLY, etc.}, clothes, a few groceries{cereal salt, sugar} candy, etc. And, the waiter, Mark?{also the cook....and possibly the owner, too!?} made Me a fish sandwich out of fish nuggets, even tho they didn't usually serve...read full review
This is one of those fabulous little places,out of the way, but you'd be so happy to find it. The owner operator is a Veteran and truly friendly to anyone. The restaurant has a wee store in the back with a bit of a variety of food, clothing, toys, etc... Our food was really good we chose the fish fry and the portions were quite enough to satisfy. My only thing about the whole meal was I'm not a fan of premade coleslaw, but don't let that keep you from stopping in they have many...read full review

Loved it! Amazing burger and fries. Amazing fried chicken. Good potato salad. Good peaches with whipped topping. Decent prices. Small menu, but great food. Very funny friendly cook. Cool 50s theme with 50s and 60s music playing. Little store attached. Cash only with an atm outside.Only 2 complaints are I bought the $4.50ish cheddar and broccoli soup, but didn't realize I never got it until I was already 20+ minutes away in Jamestown.
