Ralph's Italian Ices

I've been in Patchogue since 2001 and over the years this seasonal ice place has been through several names. The last couple years it doesn't have the vibe or atmosphere it used to. I remember from noon until 1am in the summer this was the spot music tables chairs. It must be under new ownership I don't see the same hip cool kids . During COVID I understood it. No excuses now. I hope next summer ⛱️ ? I see the vibrant lively place we all come to know and put out the tables and chairs. Do you expect us to stand ?

Parking: Free parking in the back the village does have metered parking but we all park on maple Ave or at the apartment complexes nobody I know actually pays. That's for out of towners.

Kid-friendliness: It's an ices place the employees are teens and the customers are kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's outside you can park a truck so yes wheelchairs are ok .

No samples and pretty much out of all flavors.

Staff does not wash their hands. I do not mind spending money for over priced ice’s, but running a business thats dirty is a BIG NO NO in my books. Save your money folks. Avoid this place.

The employees are super nice and patient while waiting for you to figure out what you want. Love coming here with the kids for icecream.

Won’t let you use your card without a $10 minimum which is illegal. For business to miss out on a sale is ridiculous.

Those kids working in the back are to busy catching up with each other instead of taking a simple order on 07/08/24. I had to wait for them to finish catching up with their friends and when she was done she closed the window and I was waiting for a while. Then to find out that there was a whole crew in the back that could have just took my order.

Emilia is the absolute best. I actually love getting Ralph’s because it is the best, but the employees are all so cheerful and kind. Emilia deserves a huge raise because I come back because of her kindness. And I come basically every other day

Only thing I would change is being allowed to leave a tip on a charge. The workers fully deserve it

I usually would never share a negative experience, as I know working for the general public can be tough. That being said, on Sunday 6/9/2024 I received the absolute worst service by an older woman with dark hair that warrants this review. I do see several other past customers with a similar experience that makes me take it less personal. I will not be supporting this business, there are local competitors that are much more friendly.

I love Ralph’s, but recently the soft serve ice cream doesn’t taste or look the same. It’s usually creamy and thick this time it was watery sort of a frozen yogurt consistency. I do appreciate the employee offering me something else tho.

Went here around 2:15 in the afternoon and they were closed plus according to Google they are closed now and it's only 10:10 pm. They don't even put the tables and chairs out they had a better vibe a few years ago. I wanted to get 25 pretzels and I couldn't they should open at 12 noon not sometime after two.

Parking: Free safe parking in Patchogue needs better hours and put the tables and chairs outside.
