“Had been looking for a good and more authentic mexican/latin restaurant being that I'm Mexican. Main street Cafe exceeded expectations. The food is delicious, the fresh made tortillas are exquisite, the beans and chorizo taste like in Mexico! Extensive dish selection and if something is not in the menu, the gracious staff accommodates and prepares. Highly recommend this restaurant! Can't beat the prices for the delicious and authentic food! Bravo!“

“Been coming here for a few years and I love the tacos at this restaurant in a grocery store. If you’re looking for a trendy, hipster taco spot like in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this isn’t for you. Here you will find a hard working, family owned and run establishment that really cares for the food that is made, along with locals that are really happy to have a place like this for after work meals and shopping convenience.
I usually get the 3 taco platter, with your choice of meat, that comes with rice and black beans. My favorites being chorizo and carne asada tacos loaded with pico de gallo, limes, homemade salsa verde and freshly cut radishes. Wash it down with a Jarrito and sometimes, if I have room for dessert, a freshly cut slice of flan.
Very happy that this place is located on the way to Kent, CT which is where we go to spend some of our weekends. Service is friendly and on point. They will always have my business!“

“La Guadalupana Mini Market 2 is a small, no-frills place, but it’s got charm. They carry a few Latin grocery staples, which is great if you're looking for something different in Pawling.
The people there are always super friendly, and the food while more Guatemalan than Mexican is pretty tasty. I’ve had some really good meals here, but I’ll be honest: it’s not always consistent. I think it depends on who’s cooking that day. Still, for a town that doesn’t have a ton of variety, it’s a solid option.
I’d give the food a 6 or 7 out of 10. Worth checking out if you’re in the area and craving something different.“

“This is a local Spanish restaurant, the place was crowded, so I did takeout. I had the chercherons with rice and beans. The meat was prepared well and plentiful; however, the rice was a small container portion, this size worked for the beans, but it was not enough rice. Also it took quite some time cook, beyond what was expected. However in the end it was a tasty meal.“

“I ordered lunch when I was in my office in Danbury before I left for home, intending to order from the Salsa Fresca in Carmel, NY. When I got to the restaurant they didn't have my order and after checking my app I realized it had switched to the nearest restaurant which was Danbury. That is when the manager Caesar walked up and said no problem, we'll make it for you here. He asked me for my name and called the Danbury restaurant and explained it to them. That is great customer service! Also, the burrito is KILLER!!!“
“Excellent food and vibe. A must try place.“

“We stopped here for breakfast. They have a menu with plenty of options. The food was really good. The service was also very good. It’s big so I’d imagine you can always get a seat. It’s clean and a good atmosphere. It’s in a good location as it’s close to 287 and is on the main road near a few hotels and offices.“
