Restaurantji unveils Patterson's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“I understand this is a relatively new place. Tried it based on positive reviews. Was not disappointed. Two different steaks, a fish and a chicken dish... steaks cooked perfectly. Fish and chicken slightly over cooked....but totally edible. Wait staff was great. Had an enjoyable time“
“A wonderful new addition to my town! The space is large enough sit and have lunch and grab a few items at their market. The staff is very friendly and they always make sure they have bilingual staff member there to help those of us who do not speak Spanish, because of this I prefer this establishment over another local one. They make it easy for me to feel comfortable asking questions or ordering a type of food I really don't know much about, but I am learning to love!“
“I wish i could give this place 6 stars. I discovered salsa fresca about a year ago and i’ve gone at least 150 times in that year. I love all salsa locations but this one wipes every others. The staff are some of the most genuine and kind people in food service i have ever met. Probably after the 5th or 6th time being there they not only remember who I am, but also my order as well. They also go out of their way to ask genuine questions about customers and you can tell they really care. ALSO some might say even more importantly, they’re very generous on how they scoop. The food itself is AMAZING and you can’t find better healthy fast food. Eating it frequently has been a big help in me losing almost 30 pounds. I wish I could go to this salsa fresca every single day.“
“What a joy to find a great food spot along Main street in Brewster. More than just a small restaurant, it's sited between a namesake Mini-Mart to the east and the bakery/cafe on its west flank. This trip I was only in the restaurant but it was more than good enough to warrant repeat visits.... The menu is simple but wonderfully extensive. So many choices and based on our simple lunch, my oh my, we will be back for more. There are Mexican dasayuno platos (breakfast dishes), a slew of tasty looking appetizers, the usual tacos and tamales and tortas, plus full meals that I'll save for dinner when we're back. Today we had tacos. And OH BOY I didn't want to stop. Not only plentiful, but surprisingly tasty, backed up with two or three freshly made salsas, a bit of appropriate heat, but nothing too biting for the feint of heart. Our three-taco lunch had one each of Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and Chorizo. There were at least a half-dozen other options, presumably at least as good as ours. The tacos came with unusually flavorful rice and perfectly seasoned beans. Today was only lunch, no more. Definitely our bad. But we'll make up for that; this is going to be one of our essential foodie stops in the area.“
“I don't know much about authentic Mexican food, but I know I love this place! The family is so friendly, the food is affordable and fresh. Also, their guac is SO good!! I know many people who order it in large quantities to serve at their parties as they prefer it over a local high end restaurant“
“Talking about close to home food! This cozy, energetic Guatemala restaurant has two main doors. The main entrance and the bar, but both places are connected. Space for family or large gathering, accessible, light ramp going into the restroom, free street parking available, cash and credit cards accepted. Please be patient since service could be a bit slow, very popular restaurant. Delicious Mix Guatemala season food to dream of. Lots to choose from seafood meat chicken and combination flatters. Mix drinks and straight shots are available, and their homemade Horchata was sweet to the taste with the light cinnamon. This restaurant gets packed quickly at the weekends, so make your plans coordinately.Kid-friendliness: Booster seats available for children accommodations for strollers.Wheelchair accessibility: Is a light ramp going to the restaurant“
“This place makes the best combination dinners for anyone that likes several dishes and can’t choose just one thing. They make the best margaritas around and the service is great.Parking: Ample parkingKid-friendliness: Excellent choices for kids meals“
“Love love love. So satisfying and generous portions. We had the carne asada and got two orders of beef empanadas. We split it all and we have two empeñadas left.Definitely revisiting the menu. The sauce was not hot - so ask for hot if you want it. I'm sure they have toned it down for the area. A new fav tho for hardy authentic Mexican restaurant food.“
“Las Mañanitas offers a picturesque dining experience with its stunning view of the Hudson River, provided you secure the right table. The landscape is breathtaking, complementing the delightful dining atmosphere. The food consistently impresses with its great taste and affordability, making it a popular choice among patrons. Although reservations aren't accepted and there may be a wait due to the restaurant's popularity, the bustling ambiance indicates a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. During the summer, outdoor seating adds to the charm. Despite the busy environment, the staff remains cheerful and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. I highly recommend Las Mañanitas for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine.“
“Stopped by on a Friday night. Seemed pretty busy but no wait to sit down. Salsa was good, and they gave refried beans with the chips too. My coconut margarita was good. Entree portions were large and food was tasty. I liked the salsa sampler they gave me with my entree to add extra spice to the dish. Service was a little slow when trying to get a check. Prices were fair too. Nice spot for a quick bite.“
“Retuned here with family after attending a Yelp event here Food was GoodBartender was talented and likeable(He also is part owner)Food tasted fresh and we left satisfied. Quiet day it was when we were there. Will go back for more drinks and delicious food“

“My girlfriend and I went to Tio's on Wednesday September 27th for dinner. This was our first time. Our waiter appeared to be the only front of house staff working on this night and he was wonderful. We were the only two eating in. We had some delicious margaritas, the best guacamole we have ever had and 2 awesome meals. My girlfriend had the tacos and I had the Huaraches. Total including drinks/guac was $55 before tip, so $25 per person date night is very reasonable in 2023! Will go again soon.“
