Based on the reviews, Cornerstone Restaurant & Bar in Pawling, New York, is a true gem. The food is amazing, outstanding, and consistently excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a sleek, beautiful bar. The service is exceptional, with attentive and genuinely welcoming staff. Every dish tried was fabulous. Specific meals mentioned include the Brussels sprouts with bacon, lamb kebabs, short rib, crispy onion rings, mussels in a wine broth, half chicken, and orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage. Other menu items include the arrosticini, rice balls, pizza, wedge salad, chicken piccata, burger, wings, Trout Dip, and Black Dirt Onion Rings. The drinks, like the transfusion, Barrelhouse 6 bourbon, and espresso martini, were perfectly crisp and refreshing. The restaurant has a card on the table showing the farms and businesses that go into making the delicious, locally sourced food. From the moment of arrival, the entire experience feels special, like a home-cooked meal with a touch of elegance. It is a place to make a favorite for years to come.
