The brownie I'm holding in this picture is $5. The taste isn't terrible, but the portions are laughable for the price. The strawberry (pictured) had an OK taste (not artificial) but was dry. The blackout was good, the birthday cake was OK, and the sweet potato was not my personal jam but was good. The website says they're luxury but I don't see where the luxury is to justify the price point.
I have loved everything I've purchased from Blondery. It's not cheap, but you can definitely taste the difference in all of the items. The OG Cake Jar is my favorite. Be sure to let it sit out a bit to come to room temperature. The flavors come to life when you do, it's worth the wait.

Blondery treats are absolutely delicious! I can't stop thinking about them, so I've made multiple trips in the last few months - to pop-ups and the storefront before it closed. The flavors are scrumptious, but the texture is really what gets me. Somehow, the blondies are dense and delicate at the same time. Most addictive flavor for me is s'mores, but my mom loves the chocolate chip cookies!

I placed my order Aug 15th I selected my delivery date of Aug 28th just so that my stuff could be fresh. My stuff didn’t taste the freshest and most definitely could have used more Carmel, to be honest I didn’t taste anything above the pecans which I love but fill to many were used. I really wanted to like this but with the price and the taste in my opinion it’s not worth the money. However the packaging and shipping was first class.

I tried the Blondery blondies at the Beacon farmer’s market and was blown away. The owner was so nice, and the blondies are both cute and amazingly melt-in-your mouth tasty. Highly recommend the pecan and salted caramel! Don’t miss the cookies, either! The chocolate chip is one of my favorites of all time.
Great gift boxes for shipping to friends and family all over the country, too!

The best cookies ever! My favorite is chocolate chip with oatmeal raisin a very close second. We love them for ourselves and to offer as gifts to others, if they last that long.

Yesterday, I tasted Auzerais’s vegan chocolate chip cookie, and I’ve completely fallen in love! One of the reasons I remain a vegetarian and not a vegan is because it’s so challenging to find delectable vegan alternatives to pastries and other sweets. But, Blondery has managed to make vegan cookies that have retains its soft texture & sweet richness.
I can sympathize greatly with those who cannot afford the culinary delights (I’ve had my own monetary struggles in the past, where I needed supplemental aid from community food pantries and governmental benefits). For me, personally, the price improves the consumption experience in a way. I value every bite that much more thinking of all the work that went behind being able to fit the cost in my budget. I look at whatever I purchase as a special treat—something to celebrate a success, use as a thoughtful gift, etc. And, I appreciate knowing that I’m receiving quality ingredients, while aiding an entrepreneur with scaling their small business.
As our economy shifts—due, in large part, to millennial & Gen Z influences—from prioritizing material goods (that are often unsustainable, like McMansions) to, instead, preferring experiences (e.g. traveling, immersive exhibits, etc.), I expect to see an increase in the price of luxury “ephemeral” goods. If someone is selling designer purses at $3k/pop, most wouldn’t take umbrage with it. In contrast, someone purchasing a small, artisanal, high-quality bite-sized brownie for $5 is deemed out-of-touch. In the near future, I think that perception will gradually change, as more people embrace paying more for sensations versus physical items. I hope that take of mine makes sense, lol.
Furthermore, I think the concept of unique, bite-sized brownies/blondies is brilliant. Some unsolicited suggestions I might have to further scale Blondery might be to (in addition to all the work currently being done re: great marketing/branding & the e-commerce sale strategies): 1) perhaps consider offering customizable flavors/designs. 2) aim to create more viral/stunt moments (reaching millions of nonfollowers) in ways such as a) collaborating with surprising/unique influencers—like the brilliant Tom Ford-Nara Smith collaboration, b) finding unique trends to capitalize on (eg perhaps creating a coconut-flavored blondie in honor of the current Kamala Harris popular meme), c) perhaps separating social media assets: having a Blondery page just for foodies and food-related tips, demonstrations, tutorials, trend-adoptions, fun facts, hot takes, oddly-satisfying shots, myth-busting, things-bakers-will-relate-to, etc. and another for entrepreneurial tips, inspirations, thoughts, etc., 3) consider the expansion to merch, as the branding is great, and 4) see about partnering with other nearby businesses/restaurants like Apropos to see if they might add your items to their dessert menu. I wouldn’t be afraid, too, to think outside the box. Like, perhaps even partnering with a lingerie company to create a Valentine’s Day gift set including brownies and other spicy items… ?
I’m sad that Downtown Peekskill is losing yet another retail business. But, I shall try to order from the website as often as I can ?
