We enjoy stopping for a bite before shows at the Paramount Hudson Valley. Last night, I was amazed how well the team handled the ending of a retirement party & getting ready for the dinner crowd. They didn't miss a beat & done with smiles on their faces. It's our go-to place in Peekskill.

We've been there several times in the past. We always had a good time. This time, we waited a long time for our server to come and take our drink order. The food was not as good as it had been in the past. We waited a while for our server to return with the check to pay. We wanted to leave, so we went to the front to pay. When we went to pay. The person there asked, "Any dessert?" Why would that ask that if we were already leaving? We still like the place and plan...

I've never had a bad experience there! .....but if you want Honest.....the OVERLOAD of peppercorn gravy was waaaayyyy too much,....I found myself scrapping it off to get to the steak! .....It's not really a complaint so much as a suggestion. It was just too overwhelming for that beautiful steak ! Again, I've never had a bad experience with Gleasons :)
