I have seen this place from the Amtrak train a bunch of times. It stands out due to the bright colors. The whole area with the Riverfront park adjacent is very inviting. The town is on the Metro North line so I am sure a bunch of folks from New York City make their way here. The food was as good as any Mexican restaurant I have been to. Service, attentive and quick. Interior decor was bright and fun also. I will definitely be back.

My experience was not similar to these reviews. We went early afternoon. To start we were seated and waited quite a while before being served, not even water. The margaritas were sour mix and a tequila. We ordered nachos, fish tacos and a rice bowl. The nachos were ok, hence the two stars. The fish tacos were mediocre, 7.75 or so a taco. These tacos were on the smaller end. The rice bowl comes as the taco with rice instead. So if you order a steak rice bowl you get the toppings of the taco. I asked for mine without peppers and onions, I received a bowl of white rice with steak on top. No cheese, cream, guac, beans etc. When I asked for guac and cream I got salsa verde and sour cream. The have a bottomless mimosa option which not many places here do. The scenery is beautiful, the location is great, however the food and drinks were not great.

Great burrito bowls and the best guacamole! Their margaritas are just plain delish! Love the outdoor seating in warm weather. Overall, good ambience!

I rate the food a 7, the price is a bit expensive for the amount of food. But the flavor was definitely good, it is also really close to the train and on a nice day you can eat outside. It's like $6 for one taco and they also don't offer free table chips/salsa. I didn't have the alcoholic drinks, but the lemonade was good and sour. They also have portobello mushroom as a vegetarian protein for the burritos, tacos, and taco bowls.

The food at the Taco Dive Bar is really outstanding. I don't know why there isn't a line down the block for their Tacos. Great staff, service, and guac!

The food is pretty bad. I tried the calamari and did not enjoy it. What I did enjoy is the service from the waiter/ bartender and the manager. The waiter was so kind and funny. The manager so attentive and caring, he even stopped by to check on each customer.Dietary restrictions: Limited for vegetarians

Taco Dive Bar stands out as a fusion taco haven, they use quality ingredients and have a menu worth exploring. The location is perfect, and the manageable wait time adds to the general appeal. It's the go-to place for unique takes on Mexican food, offering great menu items.

Had a great time enjoying the outside by the riverside. Tacos are all fresh and pretty well-composed. We got a mixed sampler of every taco to try! Delicious! Steak & Birria Tacos are a must!

This restaurant serves some of the best tacos and drinks. The location is fantastic and quaint.Local trains hoot and pass by on the railway track not too far away. A water body close by adds an exotic touch.Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible

The classic beef taco had way too much sodium in it. The service was poor. No wonder they call it taco dive.

Went here for dinner and ended up only getting one taco because it was already over $9 just for one and it honestly wasn’t good either! Needless to say I will not be coming

Pathetic. The service is atrocious. Understaffed. Two servers work the whole restaurant. 45 minute wait for a pickup. Manager walks around drinking and watching the chaos. The food used to be good and it's all gone to shit. And on top of the service they can't even properly pack the food, spilled sauce all over inside the pick up bag. Don't bother.
