I read some of the negative reviews and I just can’t believe them, my wife and I make it our business to go here at least 4-5 times a year as we live in the Poughkeepsie area and we stop by on trips to Letchworth. The food here is absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and the portions are generous. This place serves homestyle cooking, the cling to the ribs kinda food, if you’re a NYC liberal Karen looking for mung beans and not too much “butter” with soy milk this type of place is not for you. Don't let these negative reviews deter you from trying this place, it really is a gem, and take home a round tray of brownies, you won’t regret it, we’ll be back for the eclipse on the 8th and are so looking forward yo it!!!!

Ordered the Pub Sandwich and the next day I had to stay close to the loo. Spent more time cutting off all of the fat than actually eating the so called meat. Mushrooms are straight out of the can. So quite in there we actually had to whisper so no one could hear us talking. I definitely would not recommend this place.

I stumbled upon this place this morning. I am so thankful I did! Not only was the service prompt and friendly the food tasted amazing and the portion size was great! If I find myself in coming out to the area again I might leave early to stop by for some breakfast. Also have to say the price was decent as well.

While visiting a friend out in Perry, we decided to pick up some lunch from John & Sarah's restaurant. I ordered their crunchy chicken club wrap with a side of salad and italian dressing. Our pickup time was fairly quick and the food came carefully packaged, which I appreciated. I was surprised to see that the wrap had a tomato tortilla shell, but it was surprisingly good! The chicken inside was still crispy and delicious after the drive and the wrap paired well with my side salad. I would definitely give this menu option a try!

I just picked up 4 breakfasts for the family everyone of them was terrible they forgot to put home fries in my container so I ended having some of the others I shouldn't have bothered worst potatoes I ever had hardly cooked no flavor bacon in omelettes were raw ud never go back complete embarrassment for a breakfast spot I'd give no stars but I had to give 1

This is a good family run restaurant. We had breakfast there 2 days in a row. Each time we had leftovers. Their sausage gravy is really good.
