OK, first I want to say that I’m not the type of person to ever leave a review. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I ever did a Google review on anything. However, after my recent experiences at the subway shop at the Crosby in Perry New York, I felt compelled to speak up.

I am a healthcare worker in the area and my lunch options are often limited, however, obviously subway has made a reputation for itself over the years where you know you can go and get a decent meal at a decent price and a fairly healthier option then traditional fast food places.

I have gone into the subway about half a dozen times now and every time I think my experience will probably be better and that the staff was just having a bad day. I have finally concluded that this is not the case. And this is just how the staff is. More specifically, the female worker “Sam” needs some serious training with her complete Lack of soft skills. It doesn’t matter if I’m the only one in there or there are six people in line.

she has The same Attitude every time. Zero eye contact, never says hello and does the bare minimum every time to complete the order. Her head is aways down the entire time and she always asked very quick questions to complete the order.

Now I’m not sure if this is just a personality thing or she is trying to be this way. Either way she comes across as being extremely rude to the customer who is just trying to go in and get a nice meal for their lunch or dinner. I am a very friendly person and it takes a lot to get me upset. However, every time I leave there I just feel so bad about my experience From this individual. And honestly, it wouldn’t take much to completely change this experience. a simple smile, a simple hello with eye contact. Would literally be all it takes. She makes the food fine. My sandwiches are made with good quality. The food is never bad. However, her customer service is 0 out of 10 every single time. So much so that I am now finding myself looking for other lunch Options, even though the food is fine.

If management is reading this, you need to take a serious look at this individual because there is no doubt in my mind. You are literally losing customers Of her lack of customer service. There is no doubt in my mind.

The bread was Stale there was no Pickles the worker put little sauce on it and didn't have half of what my gf wanted I throw half of mine away

Ordered a sub on my lunch break. I was told it was done. When to pick it up, wasn't even ready. I told them I wanted my money back and they said there was nothing they could do. I was met with rude reapones and a hostile atmosphere.

This is the 5th time I have came here and every time the back looks nasty…. Very messy and they only have one person on…. This poor guy has to do everything….. to gos and prep, amd wait on the 10 people that’s always in line…. Like get some more help!!!

The entire experience was awful! Went in to order and there wasn't anyone behind the counter, they were all too busy discussing their personal lives in the back room to wait on a customer. Finally did take my order. When we got to adding vegetables, the lettuce was BROWN. I asked if they had other lettuce and was told ..."that's it". The sandwich making station was dirty and covered with whatever fell off the previous orders. I don't know how the business is set up but if there is a local owner they should visit the store and see for themselves. I will not return.

Just went there today to get a sub, my sub is cold, barely any lettuce or spinach when I asked for the regular amount. And it’s drenched in dressings. We made over twenty dollars for our food and its all a waste now because people don’t know how to make a sub. They need to train people better.

Friday Oct 14th 2022NOONWent in for online order girl pointed to 3 bags on counterOne said JOHNI asked if there were 2 in the bag , there wasn't so I assumed it wasn't my order .She then says very snottyI'm working on it .I said ok no problem.After she she was finishedShe pushed it tword meI said thank you ma'am ( sincerely)She looked at me and walked offI sarcastically said okYou're welcome.Don't know what bug she had but I wasn't impressed with the customer service.

Horrible service at this subway. Rude people and terribly prepared food. I will never go there again and I highly recommend you do the same and save yourself the trouble of dealing with rude staff

Honestly this place has some miserable people working at it. I always go in with a good attitude and I’m met with a negative one. The past 2 days I have went in they were visibly irritated. The guy the first day I went in just stared at me and my fiancé like he was disgusted with us. We had a very simple order. He didn’t give us anything with the kids meal, I had to tell him it comes with juice& applesauce. That didn’t bother me too much at the time. The next day I went in (today) there was a lady working who made us wait a very long time, met us with attitude, and was just a very unpleasant person. There was a deal where you get 3 subs for the price of 2. It was posted by checkout and we asked about the deal. She had to go back and make a sub. No big deal right? There was one guy patiently waiting behind us and she started impatiently asking the girl working the counter to check us out . This girl was also unpleasant . At the counter on the crosbys side she had an attitude because there was a deal on Chex mix. She acted like it was a super complicated task. She had people waiting in her line but the other girl was having her check us out on the subway side because she so couldn’t take 30 seconds before serving the one guy behind us who was super calm . I’m always nice to people who make my food but I did not walk out of there feeling good. Everyone I’ve seen there is rude to me and my fiancé. One girl was trying to tell my friend I shouldn’t bring my baby in if he’s gonna knock things over. (One tag fell and I picked it up) then tried laughing at me with my friend until she realized we were together. There’s about 2 people in that store that have met me with kindness. Some of us get paid less to work harder and these people need to reevaluate their attitudes.
