Stopped in for lunch. Had the vegetable beef soup and haddock sandwich with Mac and cheese. Wow!!!! The soup was absolutely delicious. The fish was nice and crisp and the Mac and cheese was so creamy. The pies looked to die for, but we were stuffed. Will definitely go back.
As a general rule love the place good food, service. However there was a special of peppered steak over rice last week!! Me, my wife and grandson all ordered it. It came out in a very small oval dish and was not good at all!!!!! Almost like they ran out and served poor food instead of telling us!!! Place on the back burner for a while. But will return!!!

Friday night lights! We took the extended family for a visit to Cook's Family Diner. Across the road the Varsity Football team was moving the ball down the field meanwhile it was a packed night at the diner. Most of us had the Friday fish special a nice sized piece of fish along with sides. The other half had the queen sized prime rib. Conversations were swirling around across the tables.
