We went in today for a wine tasting. The place was very busy. Kathy was amazing. She greeted us and said she would be with us shortly. She handled a full bar on her own and nobody had to wait long at all. She was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time!

I'm going to start out by saying, I'm not a fan of reviews. I'm a believer in rewarding compliments or voicing a concern in person. However... this amazing woman we met deserves a shout out. I am so hopefully you will get to see this Kathy!
We went to our yearly trip up to the Thousand Islands and like normal, we stopped at a couple winery's. We tried a new one this year, Otter Creek Winery. We went to the tasting room and a woman named Kathy greeted us and had us sit for a wine tasting. She explained the wines, her favorite ones and an amazing mixture of two wines together. We chatted with her for well over an hour and laughed for the majority of it. I've never felt so welcomed at any other business like this before. She MADE our day. She even toasted us as newlyweds and to how amazing it was to meet each other. Needless to say, we ended up with some bottles of wine, two wine glasses and some other gifts we found. She was so kind and honest and even hugged us before we left.
I'm so hopefully we will see you again next year, Kathy! If you ever find yourself in the Alex Bay area, visit! You will have a blast.

Ladies were fantastic. Was there 2 yrs ago and every but as good as was then. Wine selection was good as was merchandise. Got me a wooden carved bear that holds a bottle of wine.

Excellent selection of wines from the north country, excellent customer service by the staff. The winery is so organize so when you walk in there you can find what type of wine you would like. The staff has excellent knowledge of all the types of wine they make and sell. Wonderful hospitality.If you are in the US military , Servicemember, family member, Veteran asked for your military discount and they will give it to you. Again it was a wonderful time at the Otter Creek Winery in Philadelphia New York

There is a division in farm wineries. Some just cater unabashedly to the party limo trade, and I say go for it... Others, like Otter Creek are true farm wineries, growing grapes and making some wine to retain the value of their crop. This place reeks of authenticity. Brave enough to make a respectable wine from a barely vinifera grape: Frontenac. And all their other efforts are fine in a funky and appealing tasting room. So many wines, so little time...

Off the beaten trail and wonderful. He was making maple syrup and we stopped in because we were out and about. Super accommodating and nice. LOVE their Birch Beer soda, snagged a black cherry too and 2 bottles of wine.
