Love their pizza and wings, but tonight we ordered steak subs loaded with veggies and cheese, it was awesome, the sub roll was so fresh and soft. And a Antipasto salad that was full of veggies and meats, it was delicious. Well worth the money. Everything was fresh and large portions. Thank you Independent.

I eat at Independent pizzeria in Phoenix approximately once a week to 3 times a week, every week for lunch and dinner. Not sure who the new guy is at the counter, but he has a smile and is friendly, except he does not ask if you want the pizza warmed up at all. The first time, I went with it and was eating luke warm pizza and the second time I came in while he was working, I could see the pizza was in the warmer for a while and I asked if he could heat the 2 slices up in the oven quick. he said the warmer keeps it at 150F, so it is good and he blatantly ignored my request. I said ok, and ate pizza I paid for and I could tell it was sitting in the warmer for a while and it was the last couple slices of the pie, so I know it had been there a while as the dough starts to get a little chewy after being in the warmer for a while. That is not good service to tell the customer what they don't need, even when asking for it. As all the other people I have dealt with, have always asked, if you wanted it heated up, and are great at customer service. As a frequent visitor to this restaurant, I love the food and usually the service and pricing is good as well, but this employee needs to be taught properly, or I may not be back. I am a pizza lover and father of 5. So I hope this gets resolved quickly.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Independent for several years, ordering for both parties and the occasional pizza night. I’ve tried many other places in the area, but nothing compares. The team consistently goes above and beyond, especially when I call to pre-order before opening hours, they always make it work. The pizza is, without a doubt, some of the best in the area. Prices are fair and reasonable, unlike many other places, and the staff and delivery drivers are always friendly and professional. I highly recommend them and will continue to be a regular customer.
