NOT DOG OR PEOPLE FRIENDLY. Went here on a Saturday afternoon on a mild November. Nobody dining here at all, inside or outside, but we thought we’d give it a try anyway. I went inside and not even any staff was around. I waited a few minutes and a waitress came out who seemed annoyed & unfriendly. She quickly asked “to stay or to go?” And I said “to stay” and if we can eat outside with our dogs. She was very dismissive & kurt and said “no pets!” despite nobody there and now I understand why. I get policy despite lame, but she could’ve been nicer about it.

The food is very delicious, 100% Mexican flavor, the excellent margaritas take a while to serve but it is worth the wait!!

Service is terrible both in terms of rude and disrespectful owner and how long it takes to get food. It took over 1.5 hours to get our food and when a customer wanted to cancel his order, the owner started cursing at him and called the cops. Not worth the hassle. Spend your money elsewhere.

We got Mole Nachos, SUPER GOOD. Even had leftovers that still tasted great.

Only downside is no bathroom access

Portions were generous and service was good. This is a small place with limited seating. We just found the food to be bland tasting and the chicken was dry.

The lady was very rude I sat and she asked me if I was ready to order after just having handed me the menu. I had noticed a party of 5 who left as I was arriving. Looks like they hardly ate because most if the food was left on the table. The lady began cleaning the table, and seemed very unhappy at the tip they left. After she cleaned and bussed the table. She finally came to take my order. I had questions about spice level. When I asked how hot the mango salsa was. She simply said she didn't know. I asked for a sample before I decided. She said no but for $12 I could get rice. Beans, and salsa to see? I asked how big of a portion. She Saud its not a meal. She was rude, and argumentative so I left

My family loved this place when they first came to town and we still do. About last year they started charging us for extra meat for each dish, the burritos and tacos we order that come with your choice of meat. We all order the same thing every time and We have never asked for extra nor received extra meat. Unfortunately when they first came to town this was never a thing, This is something new and it's an extra $35 plus each time we've gone. So our beloved El guacamole is no longer one of our places we visit when we have extra cash to eat out. Please work this at home so we can come back to you guys.

We’re from Texas and are spoiled with good Mexican and Tex-Mex, so we weren’t even going to try any New York Mexican food. But I’m glad that this was the last place open in town, because it forced us to try it. It was very good to excellent. I especially recommend the mango salsa (like pico de gallo with mango) and the chicken-lime soup. It was a great surprise.I would also add that we walked in a few minutes before closing, which was clearly a disappointment to our hostess, but she quickly got over our late arrival and treated us like regulars. She talked to us later and is a real joy to visit with.Just go (and don’t even pay attention to the people who complain about this place when some delivery service is the problem).

Ordered: Mango Salsa, Chicken Lime Soup, Black Bean Soup, Plantains, Tacos Al Pastor, and Aguas Frescas. It was all fantastic! The plantains were like candy! The Chicken Lime Soup was fresh and bright. The Black Bean Soup cooled any spice that was too strong, and the Aguas Frescas were sweetened to be wonderfully refreshing! We are from Texas and didn’t expect to find even good Mexican food, but this was fabulous. I’d go again.

Ordered online, was originally told by the app it would be 45 minutes for a single fajita. Then received a text from Doordash that it wouldn't be ready until 8:00pm. I ordered at 6:36pm, I didn't want to wait 1.5 hours for a fajita. When I tried to cancel with the restaurant, the server rudely told me I had to cancel through the app. The app says for any order issues or refunds to contact the restaurant. This restaurant clearly cannot handle ordering online, so do so at your own risk. They have also raised their prices a significant amount in the past year or so.
