Excellent service and great food. We were seated in a large parlor with roaring fireplace and served drinks on a cold and rainy evening while our table was readied. Service was attentive and we were able to enjoy the activity in the open kitchen while our orders were prepared. The wood fired oven added a subtle extra dimension of flavor to the food, not smokey at all, but a rich savory taste that can't be duplicated on a gas range. All around 5 stars! This place is MAGICAL & full of character. I sat at the bar for the first portion of my meal. I started with the Cup of Broth... this IS a must. If I could have ordered 3 of them, I would have. The bartender suggested having my dessert in the waiting room. Which was ... spectacular. (see photo) The SMOKEY BIRD beverage is my recommendation ( house made chipotle infused tequila!) & the coconut cake for dessert was delicious.. think light & airy for texture yet...read full review

My first experience with Stissing House was for my birthday dinner with friends and it did not disappoint- we had a mixed group of people who drink and people who don’t and there was a great selection for both- I had a salted lime mock-tail -I believe — and it was perfect.
