Having been here twice, I can say they do not hesitate to provide the freshest stock of fish available! Often times I'm told they sell out fast given how busy they get.
They specialize in multiple styles of sushi, and their sushi tacos are mouthwatering!
Their sushi rolls are extravagant yet equally as delicious and their sashimi never misses!
They pride themselves in their work and it shows in their displays of sushi and how it's perceived by their guests, of which I thoroughly enjoyed!
10/10 would absolutely come by again!

I lived in Japan and know quality fish. Kinben is one of the best sushi spots on LI and the chef/owner is the best! If you have not tried Kinben and live in Syosset, Plainview, Bethpage or Hicksville, you need to try Kinben. You will not be sorry!

I really Wish I didn't have to write this review. Bugs were in my food. I was disgusted. I will not return. I wanted to go back and show the staff but I dropped in for lunch and I don't live in this area. Be mindful eating here.
Hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in Long Island! Kinben always has the freshest sushi/sashimi and the omakase is on point (as pictured). The staff at Kinben are extremely friendly and welcoming and the prices are comparable for the Plainview area.
I’ve been going to Kinben for date night for the past two years. With all of the quality sushi Kinben offers, I wouldn’t choose any other sushi restaurant over this one. I am looking fwd to many omakase nights for years to come ?.
