This location has a special place in my heart. 1988, I just came back from being stationed overseas and my girl friend (now my wife) says lets have Falafel for lunch. What's Falafel? Back then, the restaurant was called The Promised Land and it was the first time I took a bite of Falafel. Now, I was hooked! Strange that I never had nor heard of Falafel growing up in Brooklyn. Working in NYC was when I saw the different Falafel styles and was introduced to Einat Admonys version at Taim. I was a total fan of her Falafel. And to me, she gets points because she served in the IDF as well as being in Season 3 of Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions? Shabbat Shalom sister with a fist bump. Which takes me to 2024, Taim Mediterranean Kitchen in Plainview. Walking in just floods me with so many memories. The counterperson says if I join the Taim rewards I can save on my first order so download the app. 1988 doesn't have anything on 2024! Once I downloaded the app, I ordered something simple, The O.G. Falafel Pita made with Harissa (for a little kick) I sit down to a nice, clean location. Brightly colored tables and a jug with some delicious looking lemonade. (Too sugary for me in 2024) My meal is ready. I like the fact that there is both Hummus and Tahini sauce inside the pita. It was a nice sandwich, the pita texture to me was a little off. It was too thick compared to what I'm used to at other falafel joints. Just for a moment, I had lunch back in time. Them I checked my app for the meal credit, I jumped in my Electric Car and headed home. Chicken Shawarma is calling me, I'll be back. (80s reference)

Food tasted horrible and was unsanitary. found a fly or some sort of bug with the chicken. Too bad it doesn’t compare to the service and food in Taim's midtown location.

As an Israeli-American I know what authentic Israeli food should taste like. Rain comes very close which is a compliment to a fast food establishment. The only reason I only have 4 stars is because I don’t find the ordering system user friendly. The employees were friendly but they should stay up front to assist. When I called one over she came right away. No big deal. Lastly, for an Israeli place, I would do more to enhance the atmosphere with Israeli music etc. I know, given the crisis in Israel, there may be some hesitation but any of us who come to Taim, indirectly reconnect with our heritage so make us feel more at home.

Hands down one of my new favorite places in my neighborhood. Their food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. Their harissa steak bowl was everything I could ask for and more. Their service is great as well, everyone there is very friendly. I got mine with rice, harissa steak, harissa sauce, tzatziki sauce, cucumbers and fresh as can be cucumbers. This is easily one of my new go to spots. Absolutely incredible.

I tried this place for the first time this week and have already been back 3 times!!!! Let’s start by saying Ashante is very kind and professional. In the food industry you don’t see this too often anymore. She not only helped with what to pick on my first order but washed her hands right after she handled the money. Unmmmm thank god we still have individuals who care like this and make the entire experience so pleasant!!!! A++++++

Let me start off by saying the food here is actually pretty good. I particularly like the meatballs. The sauces are all delicious. My biggest problem with this place is it very disorganized. The first time I ate here, I picked up two bowls and when I got home, realized they made the entire order incorrectly (gave me falafel instead of chicken) for BOTH bowls. The second time I ate here I picked up one bowl. This time I checked right when I got in the car and it was wrong AGAIN. They gave me someone else's bowl. Not really worth it for the amount of disorganization. You could get many other more reliable lunch options.

I'm thrilled that Taïm is planting some roots in Nassau County! This is one of my favorite fast-casual chains in NYC. Delicious food and more generous portions than places like Panera. They also serve meat at this location (unlike some other Taïm outposts).

Taim is always good. It doesn't matter which location you visit, you are guaranteed to have a good meal. This is a smaller location but still offers the same menu you know and love. I had the chicken shawarma bowl and as per usual it was delicious and freshly made! The staff was friendly and they also offer rewards, including 50% off your first entrée. This shopping center has added a lot of goodies recently and Taim is the icing on the cake.
