Stopped at Gus's for a late breakfast. Great food, great service. Waitress even guaranteed us she was beautiful after we told her we just had our eyes dialated.. lol. Thanks gang...great experience.

How can a restaurant that boasts of famous hot dogs make a bad hot dog? Serve it on a cold bun, with cold saurkraut, alone on a plate with no chips, pickle or fries. Toss it on the table and forget the order of sparkling water.

We visited Gus’ Red Hots during Labour Day weekend. We had Hot dogs . WE ARE NOT GOING BACK .. the place is NOT clean at all .. tables are filthy ! Carpeting was full of crumbs, small pieces of food etc … I cannot eat in a restaurant if it’s dirty like that … no thanks … Food was great for Diner standards .

I ordered biscuts and gravy with 2 eggs overeasy. The biscuts were so hard that I couldn't cut into them. The coffee taste funny and not a good flavor. The eggs were good and the OJ was good. Would not recommend the breakfast meal and no they weren't that busy.

Never tried a Michigan and pass this place all the time so I decided to try. GROSS. The hotdog isn’t even a Hotdog, it’s more like bologna in a hotdog shape and the meat sauce on top dry and odd texture and taste. Very underwhelming. What a shame. And the soup i ordered was water with elbow pasta and sprinkle of herbs in the water.
