We like to hit this small restaurant when in Plattsburgh. The food is generous, margaritas are good. There is too much sometimes, can’t finish my plate. Prices are decent and staff are very friendly. Not the best Mexican food we’ve ever had but in my top five for Plattsburgh.Parking: City parking lot two minutes away.
The person who stated this is the most authentic Mexican food has never eaten Mexican food. This is American Mexican food. Big difference. It’s good. Just not authentic Mexican as stated in the top review.

We like going to the Pepper. The food is different from the Mexican restaurant we normally go to in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. We don't really like shredded beef or chicken. We like ground beef and fresh chicken that's not shredded.
