This place ia great, though the place may smell like weed i can assure you the staff are not the cause of it but definitely the people who live upstairs or are outside of the restaurant (which marijuana is legal so it wouldn’t matter anyways). Great food, great service & great atmosphere. The nonsense that others have to say is outrageous & shouldn’t be paid mind to. Crawdaddy’s is very welcoming :)

We liked the food; it was delicious. The help could have been more attentive. Employees should not smell of weed when they are around food.

I had a really nice time. The place is really nice. i had the crawfish Mac and cheese and it was delicious, had a lot of crawfish and it was good and spicy. The steak frites was okay, didnt really enjoy it, I should have gotten the po boy. The beignet was good too! The waiter was nice and attentive, the food came out right away. Overall, pleasant experience. It is pricey.

The table service was absolutely sub-par . The waitress passed my table multiple times without even looking my was as I sat either no water nor menu. Then she walked to the reception desk to greet newly arriving patrons, seated them, passed me again the circled back to offer me a menu. I placed my order. She brought me water. I received my order but had no utensils, napkins nor anything else besides water. I motioned for her to bring utensils, she said okay but went to stand at the bar and never returned with utensils. Thankfully the patrons at the table next to mine offered me their tin which had some napkins and a fork.

I ordered the steak grits. At $36, it should have been great, it wasn’t. I travel to Noma twice yearly and there was nothing Cajun about it. This was bad bar food.

I drove a little ways for this experience. It’s not a drive I’d make again.

The atmosphere was okay but the webpage makes it appear to be more of an upscale establishment. It’s not.

I visited Crawdaddy’s yesterday with my boyfriend and the food was phenomenal ! Our server Angela gave us great recommendations and we ended up ordering the Jambalaya and Popcorn shrimp & Fries. Exceptional service ! We came in around 6:15pm and it seemed pretty busy! From a former server myself it was nice to see Angela table touching! I love that she stopped at each table to make sure everyone was doing ok! She handled that floor very well! Oh and I cannot forget the drinks ! We had a drink called the Shakedown! It took a few to get to the table but we understood that the bartender was super busy as well but it was worth the wait ! Amazingly mixed tequila! My boyfriend and I will be back for more ! Excellent service! Excellent food! 10/10 experience

Parking: Free street parking after 3pm and there is a free lot down the street after 3.

Kid-friendliness: A little girl was enjoying the heck out of her hush puppies the environment is 100% kid friendly. Music isn’t too loud and it is a very inviting family friendly environment

This was our first dining experience at Crawdaddy’s and it won’t be our last. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all top notch. Our server Angela was delightful and very professional. My husband ordered the Jambalaya and I had the vegan Voodoo bowl. The shrimp in the Jambalaya were huge! My husband finished every last drop. The vegan voodoo bowl was well seasoned and very tasty. The portion was big enough to take some home. My husband got to have his favorite drink from New Orleans, a Sazerac and I had the Lavender Lemonade. My drink was delicious and refreshing. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next trip there.

The shrimp and fries basket was delicious. I think you can come to try this. The Mac was not amazing, some noodles were too firm and I only had one tiny piece of crawfish it was mainly shrimp, So $23 is a bit steep. The beignets sucked they were not fluffy and light but hard and dense. Worst of all we left the basket full of beignets and when the server arrived he did not asked how was the dessert, he asked if we’d like a to go box, we told the server we did not like it and he said nothing and put the check down, which he already had printed when he arrived to our table asking for a box. This is terrible hospitality because 1)you should always ask how each dish is 2) what if we wanted to order more or order drinks? 3) no acknowledgement of the terrible beignets just pure silence followed by dropping the check down and walking off without telling us to take care is a terrible representation of the restaurant and owner. Despite me not liking the Mac we only were looking for a comped $9 beignet. A simple apology and asking us what was wrong so the kitchen can improve and or the very least a discount off the check to show they care.

Review is In regard to the young Spanish server with a snake tattoo on his arm.

What is there to say? Well alot actually. If you've ever been to New Orleans or miss it then you need to visit this restaurant ASAP. And if you've never been you'll be setting yourself up as to how seriously the food is taken down there.

Crawdaddy has top notch drinks. From the abitas to the sazuracs, you'll be enjoying some liquid courage to help with all the flavors. The charbroiled oysters are a must. They come out super hot with some garlic and cheese to cover your taste buds with heavenly flavor. The side of bread is there to help you soak up some of that butter sauce and help you get it all. The gumbo was delicious, truly a piece (more like serving) of New Orleans right here in New York. Great consistency and color of the roux and overall savoriness of this dish is helped by the perfectly cooked rice. Everything all goes together and you can taste the unity of the ingredients. This is a hearty dish but make sure you have room for some dessert. The bignets and some chicory coffee will help end your dinner with a bang. There is plenty more on this menu but what you need to watch out for are the crawfish boils. They serve it family style where you sit with strangers and feast on some perfectly boiled crawfish, sausage, potatoes and corn. Wash it down with some amber ale and have some conversation. Crawdaddy's is a must visit type of restaurant.

This was incredibly good food. Better than I even expect. It was so nice to have something different in the area. Appetizers were amazing… People were friendly… Service was great. Chris was a super nice server and he explained the menu and made wonderful recommendations.
