The food and service at Gyro World is always excellent! So much so we chose to remain in the restaurant last night even when we were told, before being seated, that the A/C was not working.
First timer and definitely coming back! I normally don't get cravings for Greek food because I find it too salty for my taste however, I have to say that I'm incredibly satisfied. We ordered two tasty beef and lamb gyros, spanakapira appetizer and it only costed us $26. The French fries was mistakenly brought to us which were on the house (thanks again) but I urge you to order because they were that delicious! It was meant to beðŸ˜
Never judge a book by it's cover. Gyro world sounds like yet another Greek "fast food" restaurant. Nothing could be further from the truth. They are the real deal, and I say that having eaten at almost every Greek reastuarant in Astoria. If you are looking for an authentic Greek retuarant... You've found it here.
