Been going to Sal's since it opened, Danny and Sal have been great to the community and all of my charities. Never had a bad meal, my favorites are Shrimp Parm, Veal Parm, calamari with Capellini, and any specialty slice. As a Bronx Boy who grew up on Pizza, Sal's is the go to place in Pville.
Best take out pizza and Italian/Albanian take out in town. The chicken scarpariello never fails! The sauce is not too thick and you can really taste the cherry peppers. The potatoes were perfect, not undercooked and not mushy. The pizza is up there with the best in the area. More cheese and toppings than a few other places. The crust is firm but not crispy. If you want crispy go to Pleasantville Pizzaria on Wheeler.
