My wife is Peruvian and has an incredibly high bar and it’s authentic with the owner / chef making everything fresh being superb quality.We regularly go to Lima, eating at the best restaurants there and Mistura can hang with any of them. We were wowed, as they’ve more than earned their perfect 5-star reviews.Highly recommend going and getting the ceviche, lomo or pollo a la brasa. Also the owner can cater big events which is perfect for family gatherings.

WOW! I’m Peruvian, I’ve had a lot of Peruvian food and this is at the top of my list of favorite places. It’s incredible. The lomo saltado is awesome, kind of crispy cuts of meat with a nice smoky flavor and the chaufa is the perfect authentic Peruvian flavor. This place is my new favorite restaurant in the area. On top of that, the owner is SO sweet. If you know a lot about Peruvian cuisine, you know there’s many amazing dishes and the owner offered to make us any of them with advanced notice. What a gem of a person and place. You absolutely need to try Mistura!

My family usually have gone to other Peruvian cuisine establishments in Westchester via word of mouth of family and friends, but only now just tried this restaurant for the first time despite the fact this place is literally walking distance to our home. I'm glad we went!The ceviche is savory and flavorful with the right amount of tanginess and spiciness. The jalea (deep-fried seafood in authentic Peruvian batter) was well-prepared and not over-cooked. The meats in the anticucho and the lomo saltado were succulent and properly marinated which boosted the entire dish for maximum flavor. Every dish was freshly made and it tasted that way (and we didn't have to wait long to be served)! And to wash it down, a thirst-quenching chicha morada that had the right amount of sweetness and fresh lemon (this should be ordered by the pitcherful - one single serving is not enough).They are open everyday and can do special Peruvian dishes if called ahead of time. And I was told they will do other special services and catering if you wish.Good to know for future occasions!Highly recommended! My wife and I just left Mistura. We can’t begin to tell you how incredible everything was. The moment we walked in Alfredo greeted us with a huge smile as if we were family. That feeling of feeling like we are family lasted the whole night. The food was as good if not better then my fathers. Every bite felt as if my father made that dish for me. Ordered Lomo Saltado and Ceviche de Pescado. The Lomo was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. Asked if they could make the Ceviche extra spicy and it did not disappoint. Amazing quality, generous portions and most importantly everything was made fresh! I will definitely be visiting Mistura again very soon and if you like Peruvian food I highly recommend you give Mistura a try. You will not be disappointed.

If you want something different that's delicious hearty and hot, this is the place. I experimented and went all out Peruvian. I ordered the seafood soup that was super fresh loaded with shrimp, squid and a delicate whitefish. I also tried a drink made of purple corn called chicha morada that tasted a lot like a medicinal sangria. A refreshing change from just water or soda. Casual atmosphere, low prices.
