The Taco Project Reviews
I had the worst meal from the Pleasantville location tonight. The steak burrito was overly salty. Even with guacamole on it, all you could taste was salt. The fish in the fish tacos was incredibly small, about an inch and a half long, and the shell was overly saturated in oil that was inedible. I called to talk to the location and was told they would not be able to do anything about it since “I did receive my food.” Don’t waste your money on this restaurant.
i drove here all the way from danbury, ct & let me tell you.. this place did NOT disappoint! hands down the best tacos & quesadilla i’ve ever had in my life. the crunch of the warm shell mixed with the ground beef and cheese was 🔥. the chicken in the quesadilla was shredded and amazing. my friend had the steak tacos, and i’m not a big fan of steak in general but i tried some of hers - it literally melted in my mouth. if i was going to eat steak it would be here. literally...read full review

The Taco Project offers fresh and delicious food, with popular items like the Huevos Rancheros Bowl. The restaurant serves authentic, tasty tacos with fresh flavors that are rare in Westchester, including the Cajun salmon, mahi mahi taco, and shrimp taco, all of which are highly praised. Customers love the battered shrimp tacos, especially when paired with mango salsa, which makes the dish even better. The atmosphere is clean and cozy, with a beautiful outdoor seating area perfect for summer dining. The staff is friendly and attentive, with servers like Lily and Erica providing speedy, kind, and organized service. Erica, in particular, makes a mean hibiscus margarita that is sweet yet tastes of tequila, impressing many guests. Although some customers think the menu could offer more options and affordable lunch specials, the food quality and service remain highlights. The restaurant is a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal with marvelous margaritas, making it a favorite local place for families and friends alike. While the space may be a little small, visiting early for lunch or dinner can make for a comfortable experience. Overall, The Taco Project continues to be a top choice for tasty tacos and great drinks in Pleasantville.
