It's a chill enough place. I like the decor and food is okay but the service behind the bar is lacking. There's a porky balding chap behind the bar that has zero situational awareness. You literally have to snap your fingers or jiggle some car keys to get his attention so-as to flag him down to get another drink or app.

Finally is the lighting. I get you're going for cozy and home feel but unless you're going to hand out flash lights and miner helmets, turn up the lights a few lumens...smh

My fiance and I went had the 10 oz filet mignon and 22 oz ribeye. Both cooked perfectly. So delicious. We also had the buttermilk fried calamari as appetizer, crispy and delicious. For dessert, the s’mores brownie sundae, so good! Highly recommend this place!

We had a private party birthday celebration for my wife on Saturday, August10th in the bar area of the restaurant.
All of the preliminary planning for the party was handled by Allison. She had all the details worked out for us so all we needed to do was to show up and have fun.
We had the entire restaurant to ourselves from 1 to 4 PM.
The whole event went off very, very well.
Twenty-eight guests were in attendance and we were given exemplary service by the staff . The bar tender Nick, and his co-worker Cathy, were so attentive to everyone. They both made sure the guests had their favorite cocktails or beverage in hand throughout the whole party, and every meal was prepared for our guests just as they liked it. Nick and Cathy treated our guests like family. The food was excellent and Nick offered assistance with planning everything from the music genre to the varying sound levels to play the music during each stage of the party. Everything went so smoothly during our private event from the time the guests arrived until the party concluded.
Very impressed!
So much looking forward to our next get together at Old Fields.

I was disappointed this time (we've visited quite often). Waited about 40 minutes for our dinners. My burger was over cooked and my husband's was medium. Waitress got our order wrong. She never came back to our table after taking our order. I guess we didn't want anymore cocktails?? This was not one of our better experiences. FYI Hamburgers are $10 and sides are $8 (which doesn't say on the menu) or the enticing text solicitations weekly that you receive.

We walked out. Yesterday 6-1-24 at 6:54 we walked in and were sat in the left dining room area. Looked like there was only one waitress and one waiter for the entire area and outside so we understand there may have been an understaffing issue. I don’t remember the waitresses name but she had gelled down hair in a tight bun. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 burgers and one side of fries. The drinks came out immediately and then we sat there for AN HOUR for 2 burgers. At the 40 minute mark our waitress said just a few more minutes on those burgers and then 20 more minutes went by. Our last straw was a larger table that came in after us got their food before we did. They clearly ordered more food than us so not understanding how that comes out before 2 burgers. We put money for the drinks on the table and as we were telling the hostess that we were leaving the waitress came over and just said “yeahhh sorry” so when we explained it wasn’t her fault but waiting an hour for 2 burgers was insane and instead of offering the food to go or even offering to get a manager she just said “yeahhh sorry” again and as we turned to leave she said “yeahhh so anyway” to the hostess. Were not coming back

We went approx 5p and the place was quiet except for some at the bar. Service was great. We ordered off the special menu and loved the food. I had the po boy and my guest a burger. Beer selection was good. Place was clean and they played rock and roll (which i like nut was a bit to hard for dinnertime. Overall liked the and would go back.

Burger was very enjoyable but not mind blowing.

Would return.

A bit too dark inside for my personal liking but I'm sure it's part of there design.

Parking: Wd got lucky but when we left there were several cars looking for parking.

The skirt steak was delicious. Service can be a bit slow here so make plans accordingly but the food is well worth the wait
