I used to love coming here before work a few times a week, but lately it seems like no one even acknowledges your presence when you walk in and you’re standing at the register. I’ve also experienced a barista loudly talking about a homeless man who was in the shop while I was standing there waiting for my latte. Super disappointing and pretty unprofessional.

Food is delicious, especially the pulled chicken quesadillas. However, I really hate that their matcha latte is made with sugar. It’s a very cheap thing to do and this is the only place other thank Starbucks that I’ve heard does this. Prices are extremely high. Atmosphere is cute, great place to meet with friends and staff is friendly

Stopped in for coffee and a snack. We didn't have the breakfast, but we will be back to try. Coffee was great, and the yuzu cruller was excellent.The avocado toast was very good, but a little pricey. The service was great. The olive oil cake was very good

Used the online ordering through the website to no avail. When we arrived at Southdown Coffee in Port Jefferson our order had no even been started 10 minutes later. Shop was not crowded. Why have an online ordering system if it does not save you wait time. Very disappointed in the service!

It’s a very laid back environment, and the store offers great selections of coffee and pastries, however, no one pays attention to the customers, even when they are ready to make an order. Instead they are more focused on talking with their friends or relatives about the new years.

We went to the Port Jefferson location for the famous egg sandwich for brunch. Everything was great about this experience. The vibe was good, the place was clean, there was indoor and outdoor seating. The wait time was minimal. The egg sandwich was better than I expected. But the flavor, texture, and the portion were just right. The location is just north of the downtown right by the CVS drugstore and it has a parking lot and street parking. I will absolutely go back again and maybe try something else but it will be hard not to order their egg sandwich!!
