Fantastic coffee and atmosphere. I'm going through a rough patch right now and this coffee shop is a bright spot.

Had an iced matcha latte and the breakfast burrito. Can’t complain about the iced matcha latte, but the breakfast burrito was too wet for my liking. It had sour cream and guacamole. In my opinion one of them has to go. It was lacking texture and had a very soggy feel. Wouldn’t get it again.

Breakfast sandwiches I’ve tried so far are the famous egg sandwich and the little English. They’re both great!

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! Food ranges from good to exceptional, but their pastries can be hit or miss. Drinks are consistently good in my opinion, my girlfriend is not a fan of their iced coffee which she thinks can be inconsistent. What keeps us coming back is the famous egg sandwich which is pickled to perfection and oh so yum! I don’t think they have enough tables and maybe would benefit from eliminating one or two of the benches to add 2-3 more tables…like a typical coffee house a lot of people seem to work from there and can linger for hours. Service is great. Parking can be tricky when it’s busy, there is a shared lot but it can fill up quickly.

So we show up about 4:45 pm, over an hour before they close on a Saturday, and the bakery shelf was empty except a couple of blueberry muffins…atmosphere was good and service was good but not much food…..disappointing visit overall.

Southdown was my dissertation bootcamp cafe last year, and I am so thrilled that I can call this cafe my home base. The staff are always so friendly, their coffee is one of the best in the area, and I love their food options. You need to try their cinnamon cardamom knot and the breakfast burrito...delicious!
We love Southdown. It's our go to lunch date spot. I literally crave their grilled chicken sandwich on gluten free bread. My husband ordered the pesto avocado grilled cheese every time we go. Maple spice latte is my absolute favorite cup of coffee around.Dietary restrictions: They use Udi's gluten free bread by request.

Great coffee and food spot. The smell of the fresh baked products when you walk in is always a plus. I've only had the pastries and cold brew here both are yummy and it's one of my go to coffee spots for on the go. Not much room to sit down if you want to stay but otherwise great.
Wonderful customer service. I had a specialty coffee and it was delicious. I came with my baby girl and felt very welcomed.

I do understand the position the owners are in, it's a tough spot. You would think common courtesy would rule in situations like this but they usually don't, not in coffee shops anyway. I will always be a fan of Southdown, have been from the beginning!
