I got the filet and buffalo shrimp. The filet was cooked to temperature and tender. Buffalo shrimp had a good amount of heat without being overpowering. Service was attentive and paced well. Atmosphere was quiet and organized. Pricing was on par for the quality. No issues.
Everytime we've eaten here its been amazing, fresh and delicious! The specials are always unique and the food is cooked and seasoned just right. The wait staff is friendly and amazing! If you're looking for a place to celebrate basically anything I can't recommend 1844 House enough.
Excellent atmosphere within the original layout of the old structure. The food presentation and taste was outstanding. Yes, you are going to pay more for the meal here compared to surrounding restaurants. The pork shank was an outstanding meal. My wife and I were ok with the price point because of the quality and presentation of the food. It’s an experience, not fast food. Take your time have conversation enjoy the ambience.
