“I gotta give props where it’s due, this spot never misses. I’m hooked on their family combo meals! the seasoning is always on point, not too salty, not too bland, just right. You can tell they know what they’re doing in that kitchen.

Delivery’s always on time, too. No drama, no missing items, no “where’s my food?” nonsense. They pull up, drop it off, and it’s still hot.

And the prices? Mad reasonable. Especially for the portions you’re getting. In a time where everybody’s charging steakhouse prices for takeout, they’re keeping it humble and worth it.

If you’re craving that real Dominican flavor without getting played on the bill, this place is it.“

“Food was surprisingly delicious. Me and my family just wanted to have a quick bite to eat before heading off to NYC. Being Filipinos, we were drawn to New Nelly’s because of the rice in their menu. We honestly had zero expectations, but man! It was a treat! Their Onions and Steak with their fried rice was heaven for my 7-year old. It had some familiar flavors similar to Filipino dishes but with a very unique twist to it. We definitely recommend trying out New Nelly’s on your next trip to Poughkeepsie.“

“Ordered the roast pork daily special with moro rice and a cold Kola Champagne to top it off, everything was on point! The pork was tender with that perfect crunchy skin, and the moro rice was creamy, flavorful, and packed with delicious beans. That Kola Champagne hit different with the meal! sweet, bubbly, and brought it all together. Danny’s never disappoints when you’re craving that real Dominican home-style flavor. Highly recommend!“
