Then it opened as Maple cafe and they quickly dismantled the adorable decorations that Debra T’s had up 😣 In my opinion they destroyed it took the booths out and took all the adorable cute things down. It was dirty and we never went back SO sad! Then driving by yesterday and wala it was a new name!!!! Omg YAY We walked in and it was CLEAN which is SO incredibly important!! And so cute! “I took my almost 3 year old here with a group of his friends. He's allergic to dairy and egg, so I figured he'd have to go without. But I was pleasantly surprised to see they have dairy free ice cream! The owner even offered to bring out the container for me to read to ingredients, just to be sure. He usually gets left out when it comes to treats with friends. He was so excited to get ice cream like everyone else! Fantastic service and delicious ice cream.“

“This place has improved significantly since our last time here in the Spring. They have given the paint a facelift and cleaned up the general aesthetics. I do think more seating would be helpful (which is why I gave 4, not 5 stars.
We ordered two regular ice creams and I had the joy of having the dairy free Pina Colada sorbet. It was delicious and refreshing- I do wish I was a little colder and less melted (again why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars). My oldest child and I are dairy free due to lactose intolerance and there are almost no ice cream shops that offer such options. Thank you Carvel for paying attention and offering so many delicious options and not just flavored ice.“

“We had an ice cream sandwich which was ginormous, would take a very ambitious recipient if up to challenge. Otherwise, split it with your beloveds! Malt shake with cookies and cream is a knocked out. Literally. The patron fell asleep right after finishing it. I tried the mint chip ice cream which was so yummy. I ended up sharing the pistachio and banana cream pie. Enjoyed real pistachios and my favorite part was the banana cream pie! So good!! Would visit again on a hot summer day.“

“Indulging in a bit of nostalgia l, as this was one of my family's favorite stops with us kids at the time in the 1960s-70s. Back then, it was a typical DQ with a walk-up window. Now, like everything else, it's modernized.

I did the drive-thru and ordered a chocolate dip top cone. The car in front of me must have had a more formidable order because I waited behind him for over 10 minutes.

The cone was good, but maybe my expectations were a bit high. The service was good too. But it just lacked the fun of standing outside on line for an ice cream treat on a hot summer night. I guess both DQ and I are not kids anymore.“

“The Dairy Queen is great! The staff is usually young people, but they are usually very cheerful and willing to help. The food is really good, we like the honey BBQ strips. But it's the ice cream that wins it all, it's usually very good. Some mixes aren't quite as good, but even the bad ones taste good. Highly recommend.“
