“Let me tell you something, we came looking for good Caribbean food and left feeling like family!

After leaving the airport, we searched for a nearby Caribbean restaurant to try and WOW, what a great choice! Caribbean Kulture was definitely worth discovering.

From the moment we arrived, Zina was absolutely AMAZING! Friendly, knowledgeable, patient and full of energy and she welcomed us like family. Her menu recommendations were spot-on and her exceptional hospitality made the experience even more memorable.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kevin was busy grilling ribs and chicken, filling the air with irresistible aromas. We enjoyed wonderful conversations with both of them, which made our visit feel more like hanging out with family than dining at a restaurant.

Now, let’s talk food! Between the Oxtails, Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, Plantains, the jerk and beef patties with coco bread and the good ole Macaroni Salad, every bite was packed with flavor! The food, conversations and genuine warmth made this a true 5⭐ experience.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting with a few tables and window-facing counter seating. Perfect for dining in or grabbing something delicious to go! They also offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, fresh juices, smoothies, Wednesday wing specials, coco subs, burgers and more! I noticed this one thing while reviewing the photos for this review, the prices weren’t listed on the menu.

A quick parking tip: Finding a spot may take a little patience but trust me, the food and hospitality make it well worth the effort!

And here’s a fun bonus! We learned that LL Cool J, a Queens native, was filming NCIS in the area. Although we didn’t get a glimpse of him in action, knowing that he was nearby added a little extra excitement to our visit!

Today I had a coconut Kit Kat that was excellent but they also had some vegan/nondairy options that looked tasty. The outdoor area is nice to sit at and dog-friendly. Also appreciate that this is woman and LGBTQ+ owned.“

“Excellent ice cream and italian ice. This place has the added benefit of making any ice cream flavor you want into a milk shake. I chose mint chocolate, and the milk shake was outstanding, one of the best I've had. Tons of chocolate chips were left at the bottom of my shake, which were delicious as well.
