An underrated local bar that exceeds expectations and builds an atmosphere of belonging. I've been away from NY state for 6+ years, and what I have craved the most is a local bar with a cozy atmosphere. Not somewhere to escape from the monotony of daily but somewhere that adds to your enjoyment of living in the local area. My favorite meal was the french onion soup but the mac and cheese and pulled pork was great as well.

My friend and I decided to go out for lunch and since JD’s is right near us, we decided to try it. Their menu is first-rate, prices are good, service was wonderful and the food was delicious. The only thing I would say is that the acoustics are not great, but that will not stop us from going back. We had a wonderful meal, their burgers are gigantic and cooked perfectly. Their French fries are not salty or oily. All in all it was a great meal.

The place itself is very nice, but the bar manager bullies the staff. Earlier this week he fired a bartender and reduced her to tears in front of everyone in the entire place. Even if the firing was earned (which I don’t believe that it was), the matter should have been dealt with in a private setting in a professional manner, not by bullying a young girl in public. Not only was it blatantly inappropriate, it was also abusive as well. Several of the regular customers...
