The Palace Diner is your typical diner experience. They offer nice portions, and the staff moves at an average speed - not too fast, not too slow.One perk is the free fountain drink refills, which is always appreciated. However, the food is average at best. Retro diner and so-so service. Despite being one of the only people in the diner first thing in the morning, service was slow and the greeting at the door was “how many”? Food was fine but the atmosphere was punctuated by an alarm that kept going off. The menu itself says “food with attitude” but it was more like disinterest.

Legitimately one of the best diners around. From the food to the staff, everything was better than I had hoped it would be. Staff is inviting and friendly and the food goes above and beyond expectations. This is THE place for that diner fare fix!
