Early to the train station, I was lucky enough to be directed to The Poughkeepsie Grind and Cafe when I asked a kind taxi driver where to get a cup of coffee. Not only was the coffee fresh and hot, but the egg sandwich (of which I am a connoisseur) was the best I have ever had-- a soft bun, a generous portion of buttery, scrambled egg, and just enough mayonnaise to give it a litte flair. The food was outstanding! Ordered the omelet and the ingredients were very fresh and filling. The cheese covered home fries were very tasty as well. And really good coffee too. Definitely recommend for breakfast!
So delicious everything, I wish I wasn't just visiting I would come here everyday!!! Sooo many good choices from fresh food to made in house coffee n smoothies, Highly recommended.
