Hands down, the best tamales I've ever had. They're my favorite food! Also, every time, the restaurant staff are extremely friendly, accommodating, and courteous. Can't recommend this place enough.
5 stars. Super nice staff. Relaxing environment. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The Memelitas were to die for! Atole was excellent as well. Chicken tamale was also fantastic!
Enter this unassuming little establishment on Main Street in Poughkeepsie and be hit in the face with the smell of freshly made corn tortillas being put on the grill. A smattering of tables, adorn this quaint little tortilleria where one has to walk up to the counter to place their order. The patient and accommodating staff are helpful and friendly. But the food though. It comes out quickly and tastes amazingly fresh, with a distinctly homemade quality.
