The food is delicious, the fresh made tortillas are exquisite, the beans and chorizo taste like in Mexico! “First time here and it was a great experience. I went in for lunch and ordered two nopales and two verduritas tacos and a side of rice and beans. The tacos were absolutely loaded and full of flavor. The nopales were cooked perfectly and I loved all the different veggies on the verduritas tacos. They have three different salsas and they were all good, but the morita was the standout for me, it had such a great Smokey flavor.“

“Been coming here for a few years and I love the tacos at this restaurant in a grocery store. If you’re looking for a trendy, hipster taco spot like in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this isn’t for you. Here you will find a hard working, family owned and run establishment that really cares for the food that is made, along with locals that are really happy to have a place like this for after work meals and shopping convenience.

I usually get the 3 taco platter, with your choice of meat, that comes with rice and black beans. My favorites being chorizo and carne asada tacos loaded with pico de gallo, limes, homemade salsa verde and freshly cut radishes. Wash it down with a Jarrito and sometimes, if I have room for dessert, a freshly cut slice of flan.

Very happy that this place is located on the way to Kent, CT which is where we go to spend some of our weekends. Service is friendly and on point. They will always have my business!“

“La Guadalupana Mini Market 2 is a small, no-frills place, but it’s got charm. They carry a few Latin grocery staples, which is great if you're looking for something different in Pawling.

The people there are always super friendly, and the food while more Guatemalan than Mexican is pretty tasty. I’ve had some really good meals here, but I’ll be honest: it’s not always consistent. I think it depends on who’s cooking that day. Still, for a town that doesn’t have a ton of variety, it’s a solid option.

I’d give the food a 6 or 7 out of 10. Worth checking out if you’re in the area and craving something different.“

“I had an amazing time here, all the ladies at the line were polite and helpful. The meat had the right amount of spice and tenderness. On the other side, the establishment’s AC system leaves much to be desired. The place is hot and I could see the fatigue on the workers’ faces as they served my meal. There is an AC above the door entrance which serves for nothing but a faint breeze. I could eventually feel the heat myself as I sat down. I will be returning but that certainly could improve.“
