I just arrived back in the states after traveling for 2 months in Europe. During that time, I stayed at about 14 different 5 star hotels and received the excellent personal service you would expect. This morning I wandered down late in the morning to the Hilton’s 144 restaurant breakfast buffet service and had the pleasure of being taken care of by a wonderful gentleman by the name of Shabeh (I am so sorry if I misspelled his name, I should have written it down!).I can tell...
There are not many options to eat at the hotels clustered in this area. This restaurant was the only one within reasonable walking distance. Overall the food was fine, the prices not unreasonable considering, and the waiter was very good. My first impression; however, wasn't very favorable. The hostess was about as unfriendly as can be. Maybe she was having a bad day, otherwise I would suggest they don't have her as the first impression of the restaurant.
I stayed at the Hilton and had dinner at 144 Restaurant. The philly cheese steak I had was delicious, and the French fries were extremely fresh. The service was top-notch at the bar, and the bar tenders were very entertaining and fun. It was a great dinner experience
