Low key Greek restaurant with good food.

Update 06/2025:
This was a good restaurant... now its filthy, disgusting and the food is no longer the way its supposed to be. What a disappointment

I’ve walked past this place frequently since it opened but never had the opportunity to try it. My husband and I walked past again and decided today was going to be the day we give it a try and safe to say, it was a hit!

We ordered the saganaki as our appetizer and were a bit confused when we first got it because we thought it would be paired with a pita of some sort but it tasted delicious on its own. Despite how good it was, we don’t think it was worth $12 so probably won’t be ordering that again in the future.

We definitely will be returning for the combination platter though! For ~$26 you get to choose 4 meats from the menu (with exception of the skirt steak that might come with an additional fee). Plus, a choice of a soup or salad, a choice of fries, rice, or lemon potatoes, and tzatziki sauce and pita. The portions were also super generous and this felt like a meal well spent. Will definitely be returning!

Food here is fantastic! Especially love the Chicken Souvlaki platter, which is my go-to meal on their lunch special. Service is top-notch and the staff is friendly. Atmosphere is great for both small groups and large groups.

I ordered take out today and ordered my usual chicken soulvaki platter. The rice was stale, and lemon soup had a long hair in it. l previously was eating here often but won’t be back anytime soon! Nice $23 meal in the garbage!

Classic Greek! Food was good, up to expectations. The Tzatziki sauce is very good, not watered down and flavorful! Service was good. Will be going back.

Arrive around 6pm on a Friday night and get a seat without waiting. Since it was our first time dining, we asked the waiter for recommendations and ended up ordering appetizers of octopus and gyro platter.
The pita was served first. It was very fragrant and delicious with the garlic-flavored dipping sauce. Greek salad is simply lettuce, onions and feta cheese, and it's delicious without any sauce. For the main dish of the Gyro platter, we chose French fries. The fries themselves were not dipped in sauce, and they were just salty when paired with ketchup. Gyro is a flavor I've never tasted before. It's supposed to be minced lamb and beef mixed together and sliced like ham. It tastes pretty good.

The picture of Grill Octopus in the website is so much more and when I you order take out, I only get 3 tiny tentacles that cost $17,50 plus text. It's so NOT worth it.
The cashier is also not smart and didn't know how calculated the chance. My order is $45.19 and I gave her $100.19, she gave me back $54.81 instead of $55.00. When I told her, she got so confused and Then the other lady jumped in said I have to give her the 81 cents in order to give me the $55 my chance. I don't have my glasses on so I thought my order was $45.19. I came home and saw the receipt it is $45.19. DO NOT PAY CASH cause cashier doesn't know how to count.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN.

On the left picture is my Grill octopus order and on the right is the picture from their website. See the different!!!!!

You know, on holiday in New York after days of burgers and pancakes you want to eat something else. By chance I found this place and I was satisfied, so satisfied that on my next trip to NYC I will return. Warm and familiar environment, attentive and kind service, tasty and plentiful dishes (in NYC they have everything extra). The only flaw is the tables for 2 people, they are really small. The bill in line with local prices. I highly recommend it

There’s no nice way to say this- the food just isn’t good. I really wanted to like this place and wished it was good, but that would be just not the reality. The grape leaves were certainly from a can. The halloumi was fine, but that’s hard to mess up. And the star of the show was the loukaniko, which was the worst I’ve ever had. It was genuinely strange. It had a pungent orange peel flavor with other spices and was super greasy / oily. I love loukaniko normally and this was a travesty.

Service was friendly and efficient. The place is nice enough looking. The back patio area looked inviting.

The food seriously needs to improve though. If I wasn’t a Greek American and didn’t already love Greek food, and this was my first time having Greek food, I’d never want to try it again.
