I've been to several bonchon establishments. This is by far the worst. The food was burnt and the rice was tasteless and mushy. I received the worst customer service from the manager MAX who was extremely rude and super unprofessional. Then began to place blame on the cashier and I came to her defensive which caused him to change his tone. As a patronizing customer I should not have been handled in this manner.

The chicken looks very burnt. It was hard to chew on and it tasted like there was barely any sauce on it. It was so hard that the utensils given broke farley easy. I got the season fries as well and there was barely any seasoning on it. Only like a bit of sprinkles here and there. The rice was pretty stale and weird to chew on. They tasted like ordinary fries. Especially for the prices here I would have rather gone to the one in Manhattan. I would recommend others go to the bonchon in Manhattan where the prices are reasonable and the food is good.

Chicken was very burnt and I struggled to even get the fork in. It was so burnt and hard that my fork broke. This is very disappointing as the Bonchon at 23rd st in Manhattan would always make good chicken. However, recently all the stores have just begun to make bad food and it is very unappetizing for us customers. Bonchon has changed and this is such a disappointment. Chicken has either been burnt or undercooked, barely any sauce or just pure powder, and the price for this low quality food is not worth it. If these negative comments can bring something to light, I would hope that all Bonchons take note of this and ensure they make their food properly.

I used to love Bonchon back in 2014-2015, but the quality has really gone downhill. The fried chicken isn’t well-made anymore—the drumsticks are huge, but the batter is neither crispy nor crunchy. It's overly salty and lacks the umami flavor you'd expect from a soy sauce base. The price is also higher compared to other restaurants. The sweet and sour radishes were flavorless, almost like they forgot to add vinegar and sugar—it just tasted like plain fresh radishes.
In today’s economy, making a bad lunch choice feels especially regretful. I don’t plan to visit again, and it’s disappointing that this place carries the “Korean fried chicken” label. The seasoning on the chicken was off, and overall, I wouldn’t eat it again even if it were $10. It never used to be like this… I’m not sure how they’ll compete with nearby spots like Chick-fil-A, KFC, or Panda Express at this rate. I really hope they consider reevaluating their management.
The best part was the automatic motion-sensor trash can.
compared to the location on Manhattan this location is very disappointing. We had ordered the loaded bulgogi fries and the cheese wasn't even melted and we waited like 5 minutes for it to maybe melt but it didn't and it's just cold. We told the store that our food was cold and u can see it as well since the cheese did not melt and their response was that they don't have a microwave and that dish is meant to be brought home and microwaved on ur own. Which makes no sense given that this is a mall where u eat food in the food court and having cold food isn't enjoyable.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Omg.. we waited for over an hour for the food and kept coming back to ask HOW MUCH LONGER ..!! They kept saying it's coming up then 10 mins keep coming up again and again ...... then they told us theyre out of rice .. they wasted so much of my time !! Respectfully this is far by worst but atleast they ended up giving us a bag of fries for that bad experience!!...??
